AIROS Medical, Inc., a medical technology manufacturer and designer specializing in compression therapy, today announced it will present its line of compression therapy devices and garments at the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) / Wound Healing Society (WHS) Spring conference. The event will be held at The Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, from May 7-11, 2019.

Over 2,000 participants, including healthcare providers, wound center executives, faculty, and medical device innovators, will be in attendance. Clinical attendees are expected to include wound care nursing professionals, podiatrists, physician assistants, dietitians, and physical therapists.

AIROS Medical will demonstrate its AIROS 6 and AIROS 8 devices, as well as its line of compression garments. The company attended the SAWC Fall conference in October, 2018, and experienced high interest from wound care professionals.

“Our team attended the last SAWC event, and was met with incredible interest from wound care nurses and physicians who see more and more patients with lymphatic and venous disorders, including venous ulcers, every day,” says Gerald Makoid, CEO and president of AIROS Medical. “We were able to directly engage with hundreds of wound care professionals and clinicians, and have since been able to work with them and our durable medical equipment suppliers to directly impact and improve patient treatment. We expect similar success at this SAWC conference, and look forward to collaborating with more healthcare practitioners with the goal of helping patients battling wounds, especially those caused by or negatively impacted by lymphedema or venous complications.”

AIROS Medical will be in booth 936 at the conference. Private demonstrations are available upon request. Please contact AIROS Medical at 1-866-991-6956 to schedule a time at the event.
